Fueron 36 monteros los que acudieron a la llamada de Juan Cándido Méndez, en un día de lluvia y algo de viento, que dificultó la salida de las armadas y la recogida de las reses. El plantel fue organizado y expuesto gracias al esfuerzo y al duro trabajo del equipo de La Gineta. Así pues, se pudieron apreciar en el tapete 18 gamos, 7 venados, 6 cochinos y 22 hembras de gestión. Un inusual resultado logrado por los cazadores, máxime siendo un monte público, perteneciente a una sociedad federada de caza. Hechos como éste dignifican la caza en abierto y resaltan la buena gestión y el respeto de los cazadores de la zona. Bien por todos y muchas felicidades a los cazadores y a la organización.
